My name is Larry Karnowski, and I’m a software developer and music lover living in Durham, North Carolina.

Specifically, I’m a Ruby/Java developer, specializing in user interface design and development. I have worked for some notable Triangle technology companies including Oculan, Raritan, Motricity, MCI Worldcom, and I am now happily employed at Relevance.

As a music lover, I’ve been running the twang music blog, Hickory Wind, since 2002. I’m also an amateur musician—fiddle, guitar, and singer. I play with the band the Right Turn Clydes.

I also read a helluva lot, do not watch television, and jog regularly. I don’t get to go camping, hiking, or biking as much as I’d like. More’s the pity.
