HickoryTech
The Geekier Side of Twang
Here’s a short list of projects that I’ve been toiling away on in the past few years:
Hickory Wind
I created the multi-author blog covering traditional and Roots music in 2002. We review everything from old-school Blues to Bluegrass, Rockabilly to Indie Rock, and Old Time to Celtic.
SoundManager2 Rails Plugin
Makes playing MP3s from web pages in a Rails app much easier via the SoundManager2 Javascript API.
OpenNMS
I was the original user interface designer for the open network management tool, OpenNMS. I still peek in from time to time.
Colorcat
Adds ANSI color to terminal text according to Perl 5 regular expressions. Makes verbose log files or command-line output easier to read.
Raritan CommandCenter NOC
From its origins as the Oculan OpticNerve and Oculan 250, to its current manifestation as the Raritan CommandCenter NOC, I designed and implemented the award-winning user interface of Raritan’s premiere network management appliance.
